This beautifully woven dish is for soba and udon, and for other various occasions.

The way of knitting is called Tessen (iron wire), Fusha (windmill) or Kikko (tortoiseshell weave) knitting.

The dish is woven in two layers of outer layer and inner core of bamboo.

The edge is Sasara-edge, round shape is made by with finely splitted bamboos.

Please note that the rattan vine is fragile. Be careful not to hit the edge against anything while you shake it to drain water.
